product review! my first ever! it’s totally possible that this will be my only ever! who knows? i don’t! i’m not clairvoyant. i cannot read the future.
the product in question: korres mango butter lipstick.
as i believe i’ve mentioned before, i’m not a very ‘makeup person’. (side story: i was once described to myself over the phone as ‘the girl who wasn’t wearing makeup’. to which i thought: ?!?!?!). that having been said, i have plenty of makeup, and as i am increasingly in front of the camera, i’m getting used to wearing it more frequently. but i’m not super adventurous. i very rarely go on a quest for new colors or products, and when i do, they tend to be spurred on by very specific events. for example, after watching veronica mars, i went on a quest for the perfect veronica mars eyeshadow. which i found, and is to this day my favorite and most frequently worn eyeshadow.

the reason i LOVE this lipstick, enough to write up an entire blog post about it, is because it is smoooooooth like buttah. mango butter, i guess. it doesn’t feel like lipstick, it feels like chapstick. and the color is fab. sheer, but it layers well for a punch of color. mimi is the one that got me into this lipstick.

*the lip gloss to which i am referring is actually lipstick. just to be clear. okay. so we’re clear now, right? whew. that was weighing on me.

I really, really need to try their lipstick. I have their lip butter … something. The kind that comes in the pot and the kind that comes in a squeeze tube, and they are amazing.

I might have to try this product out solely for the fact that you say it does not feel like lipstick.
