can i hear a collective ‘ugh’ in regards to trying to take decent pictures at night in the winter? (by night, i obviously mean just after 5 pm) ugh.
but i’m lucky enough to have jillie as a friend, and she didn’t complain as i dragged her around the cold cold night(/very early evening) in search of light good enough to take pictures by. thanks, jill!

(the excellent details of this sweater aren’t too apparent from the front)
j. crew scarf – canvas grey sweater, navy chinos – crewcuts chambray button down – galleria grey wingtips – gift agate ring
alright! pair one of shoes is thusly chosen: grey wingtips! they are so good and classic. not to be a whiny wanda tonight, but guys, i don’t know where my camera remote is, AND my little platform that connects the camera and the tripod is missing!
that’s enough of that now. don’t worry guys, i’m happily ensconced on the couch, under a quilt, listening to alt-j, drinking some tea. and working on a toblerone. so obviously, i have very little to complain about. and now, if you don’t mind, i have a little knitting that requires my attention. ^_~
go check out rebecca‘s first outfit, and if you’re embarking on the remixing journey, visit her to link up!
if you feel so inclined, tell me something that annoys you today, and something that’s going quite alright. or just one or the other! see ya tomorrow.

Something that’s going quite all right — my blog design that is occurring as we speak! Go look! Tell me what you think!
it looks bee-oo-tiful! i like it muchly!
Something that annoys me today: The smallness of the apartment not allowing me a comfortable place to sit while Craig does his video things. I’m relegated to the far side of the kitchen table or the bed (where I promptly fall asleep). Looking forward to apartment hunting in a few months!
Something that is quite alright: Finances in regards to my schooling. I just learned today that I am no longer required to put my mother’s income on my FAFSA application and will therefore get MUCH more financial aid for college!
that is rough. you should get the extra room set up a little more comfortably so you can chill in there!
and YAYAYAYAYAY about your financial aid, that’s FABULOUS!
Ugh. It’s Monday. One hour of Physical Therapy + 11 hours of work = a tired Tara. On the bright side, I came home to a delicious home cooked meal from my husband. ps. Your jacket/sweater thing-y looks super cozy. I am on a grey kick, may be the weather or my state of mind. Either way. Enjoy the rest of your Monday.
my grey kick is eternal… grey is my jam, as it were. so i say: live it up! buy grey! i’m sorry your day was so long (it sounds pretty rough), but keep on recovering! hope the rest of your week gets easier!
I love surprise!-look-how-cool-my-”plain”-sweater-is-from-behind sweaters! My first outfit will be up tomorrow. I’m annoyed that the remote I got for my camera for Christmas doesn’t want to work anymore.
What a lovely outfit! You look so cozy in that sweater and I’m loving those shoes. The color is perfect! Good luck with the rest of your 15 for 15 and I can’t wait to see more looks!
Sounds like one of those days… The outfit, though, is totally cozy chic!
Something bleah today: Had to stay up all night to finish up a pattern (because all the hours in the day melts away mysteriously).
Something yay today: The pattern is finally finished so I can divert my attention to other things. Hello knitting!
